If you are moving for work, most of the time, the company transferring or hiring you will take care of that aspect. Meanwhile, if you are moving there personally, make sure you receive your visa before you plan and organize anything else. It is up to you if you want to bring over your driver’s license as you will have to check regulations and requirements when it comes to driving in Mexico.

Moreover, bring your medical records and prescriptions with you just in case. This way you can be prepared ahead of time in case you require medical attention when you arrive in Mexico.
