In November of 2014, my client, “Angela” came to Rocky Point to buy a condo. She is from California and originally had considered to purchase in Puerto Vallarta, which is a great place, but when she found out that our beach side community of Rocky Point-Puerto Peñasco is easily driven here from California, she thought this made more sense, plus she got a condo for about half the price as she would have in Puerto Vallarta. The condo she chose was in Las Palomas. A beautiful 1 bedroom fully furnished unit with great views, low HOA payments, and sold for $109,500. The closing could have occurred sooner, however the last 2 weeks of December, government offices are closed for the holidays, so we were able to close the end of January. I took photos of her at the closing table, where our closing coordinator/attorney Suzeth Quintana was explaining each and every document, including her title (Fideicomiso-Bank Trust) which will be ready soon. Angela is retiring in a couple years and she is excited to be meeting new friends in the building and in town. She will be a great addition to our community, she is a very cool person! I am happy for Angela, she bought one of the “best deals” on Sandy Beach. The cruise ship home port is coming along and we have already seen an increase in sales activity, so she came at a great time. Welcome Home Angela!
